MD Anderson Mobile App Reviews

New and def not improved! Cant even get it to open! This was my go to for all my appointments/messages/records/etc. Bring back the old one or fix the new one! When you go to app support it even shows that page doesnt exist!

Been to MD Anderson less than a week and this has helped a lot to keep track of schedules, messages, and directions. The only thing it needs to get the 5 stars is the ability to save your password and I understand that might not be possible given the nature of the content.

Ive been waiting on this app for quite some time. A robust first effort and worth the wait. Well done.

I am able to login via safari and web browsers, but the app fails for me.

As a patient living over 1000 miles from MD Anderson, using the My MD Anderson portal is critical to care management, travel arrangements, and getting information, and in some ways the only way to get appointment info and communicate with the care team. I thought having a quick access point to get to this on my iPhone and iPad would be so much better than having to log in through a browser each time. The spinning daisy wheel is all I get. Fighting cancer and the health care system is a full time job. Failure to launch for this app us just another glitch that is there to make things harder. I hope for an app fix soon. Until then, this is less than useless.

Works fine for me, convenient to have this in an app (although the website is good too). I hope they figure out why some others are having trouble logging in.

Login doesnt work on iPad or iPhone. Computer browser works fine. Update per MDA: The website will not let you enter more than 12 characters which you can see if you watch while typing it in. The mobile application will let you enter more than 12, but the login will then fail. Shorten the password to 12 characters or less and it will work.

Based on a review that said your password has to be 12 characters max, I shortened mine to 12. I can log in with Firefox just fine, but the app tells me that my login ID or password is wrong. No, the app is wrong and it is useless.

Login on the iPhone is blocked or fails. No problem when I login on the computer. Tried the 12 character suggestion but continues to fail. Any other suggestions?

For some reason My wife and I can log in to the website but have never been able to log into the app. Even the website is only successful about 1 in 20 times. This is a great concept especially with us living so far away. I find it hard to believe that the greatest hospital in the world cant have an app that works. I hope this gets worked out. Im sure if your downloading this app your life is stressful enough right now. This is the last thing you need to deal with.

I love this app! It is beautifully designed and very easy to use. It is so easy to see my appointment schedule and so convenient since its on my phone.

I even changed my password. The screen goes blank white. Scary. has it been hacked?

It looks and feels like it was programmed by high school students. There is so much less information that it is now borderline useless. I can connect fitness aps to it, but the purpose of using it to manage appointments and locate where at in MD Anderson is now worthless.

The old schedule listing show the time, location, elevator, & floor on one page. The update only shows the day & appointment. Must go to a separate page to see time. No elevator or floor. For those of us that have been treated for a while we have become familiar, more or less, with the elevator & floor. Newbies will be lost. Even those of us under treatment can get lost at times. It is a big place. Go back to the old format.

Not working at all

Current version doesnt show where the appointments are located if you have never been to that location it becomes pointless. One good thing is that you can refill your prescription from the app if the pharmacy put in the medications from the old system correctly. Please fix that!!

The new update makes it impossible to know where your appointments are, you only know when and thats it no elevator and no floor information. Please let us know so we dont get lost or be late to the appointments.

New app doesnt work. It opens and closes.

POS, before the update this was a good app and was very useful but now after the update the app wont even open. The app crashes every time I try to open after the update.
